The Role

The purpose of this post is to ensure the smooth running of the buildings such that the buildings and grounds are safe, secure, defect free, clean and tidy at all times and that teaching rooms are kept in good order throughout the day and set out to meet a variety of teaching needs. It is expected that the post holder will be capable of carrying out minor repairs, caretaking tasks, gardening tasks. The role includes a Security function, responsible for the general security of the Campus. Car park patrolling, CCTV monitoring, statutory monitoring and lock ups.


The Person

You will have previous security experience. Have had experience of maintenance work or work allied to the building industry. You will be of smart appearance and willing to work as part of a team. A knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace. You will hold an SIA Door Supervisor qualification. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be made before appointment of the successful candidate is confirmed.

Additional Information

A shift system of Early and Late shifts will be required for this role.
