The Best Connection, Ashford Branch is currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative/ Stock Controller for one of our clients based in Ramsgate, Kent.

Your main duties will involve working within the warehouse operations team in dispatch order picking products and packing them using handheld barcoded scanners, checking the stock within the warehouse, completing distribution paperwork and assisting the stock control. Depending on work load you may be required to assist with the production team with manufacturing the items.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 with overtime available depending on workload.

The pay rate for this position is £8.72 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Knowledge around Manual Handling
Computer Literate
Good Numeracy and literacy skills
Good communicational skills
Reliable and Punctual
Knowledge around the use of barcoded scanners
Own transport is essential due to the location

Due to the nature of the business the company experience high peeks, this is where overtime will be offered to the right individuals who show enthusiasm and willingness to be flexible with working hours.

There is potential for a permanent position to be offered following the successful completion of the probationary period.
