We are looking for motivated, experienced professionals with supervisory and management experience to join us who are committed to integrated working with the NHS, ready to embrace and manage change and new ways of working.

If you are a Registered Social Worker with supervisory and operational management experience in Adult Social Care, then we want to hear from you.

As a Team Manager you will manage Senior Practitioners, Social Workers and support staff; overseeing cases requiring assessment, review and on-going support. You will make a real difference in achieving outcomes, leading to more independent living for service users. The service is also increasingly accessible to the public outside of traditional office hours, as we move towards an 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week service.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England. 
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Our offer

Salary £45,817 - £53,395 per annum

Relocation packages up to a maximum of £8,000

Starting annual leave allowance of 27 to 30 days

A minimum of 5 days training/development each year
