We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our staff team at Maidstone Community Service. We work with a wide range of individuals with varying needs, we lead activities in both our hub, and outside in the community.

You will need to assist in meeting the needs and aspirations of people with learning disabilities to achieve their individual outcomes and personal goals. You will provide individuals with encouragement, support and assistance; promoting social inclusion, including their rights and choices, to enable people with learning disabilities to live more independent and fulfilled lives.

You will need to work towards completion of the Skills for Care Certificate in an agreed timeframe; or evidence of having completed the Care Certificate and hold or be willing to undertake NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) OR Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care in an agreed timescale.
