Do you have demonstrable expertise across a range of areas such as brand management, campaign management and market insight and analysis?

If you have extensive experience and a proven track record in marketing and implementing multi-channel campaigns this full time, fixed term role (until 23 April 2020) could be a wonderful opportunity for you.

Our Marketing Officers are pivotal to managing and supporting the strategic initiatives and campaigns to boost student recruitment and your ability to conduct analysis and research as well as to develop, co-ordinate and evaluate appropriate, well-targeted campaigns as part of the broad marketing mix is sought.

The post is based at our Canterbury campus but may involve travel between the various University sites. You will also be required to work some evenings and weekends in support of the University’s Open Days and other promotional activities.

As Marketing Officer, you will:

manage the development, promotion and delivery of student recruitment and corporate campaigns
manage the University’s social media channels in collaboration with others
work closely with colleagues in the academic schools to provide support and advice on their marketing activities
represent the University at recruitment and marketing events, to maximize engagement with potential students and stakeholders
conduct analysis and market research to identify market demand for current and new degree courses

To be successful in this role you will have:

an education to degree level, or significant relevant experience
a professional qualification in Marketing (CIM or equivalent) or substantial relevant marketing experience
experience in new media and implementing campaigns for online communities
extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
The Central Marketing team at Kent lead, steer and deliver marketing campaigns, solutions and insight to attract students to the University. Taking a digital first approach they are always looking to innovate whilst putting the customer at the heart of what they do. Their remit covers digital marketing, research, campaign, social media, web and content production.

The Marketing Team work alongside Enrolment Management Services (EMS) which is responsible for the development and delivery of a co-ordinated and coherent approach to the University’s outreach, recruitment, marketing and admissions activities.
