Are you passionate about delivering projects improving services for tens of thousands of users?

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Project Manager to deliver substantial improvements to the University’s IT infrastructure over the next two years. The role will coordinate the work of up to three dedicated IT Infrastructure Developers along with a range of other IT experts. The projects will need to promote working across specialisms and teams.

This virtual team will work with peers to specify, design, procure and implement substantial developments to the University’s storage, compute and network provision to support the delivery of core IT services.

As Project Manager you will:

Deliver a range of IT infrastructure projects within the allocated time, budget and resource.
Produce and maintain project documentation for a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and liaise with stakeholders from a range of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
Manage risks and issues to ensure the delivery of project outcomes.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure and assess the benefits realised by the University.
To succeed in any of these roles you will:

Have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and negotiate with staff and other users at all levels.
Have strong analytical skills.
Be organised and able to prioritise workloads in the face of conflicting demands.
Experience delivering complex IT projects, managing budgets and stakeholders.
