Our client, a well established business based in Mid Kent, is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant. The role reports into the Finance Manager but comes with a degree of autonomy in the areas of day-to-day accounting operations. Key duties will include:

- Monitoring all daily automatic postings and preparing corrective actions in case of errors
- Monthly checking of ledger accounts and making necessary corrections
- Preparing monthly trial balance
- Preparing monthly cash flow management reporting
- Preparing quarterly adjustments
- Preparing consolidation package
- Preparing intercompany reconciliation
- Preparing monthly cost allocation and recharging
- VAT filing and other statistical registrations

This is a newly created role which will provide the opportunity to add value. The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with excellent communication and system skills.
