The ideal candidate should have a passion for delivering great customer service, a can-do attitude and the ability to multitask, previous experience would be a bonus but is not essential.
The job will entail;
Greeting and welcoming with a smile all guests passing through Hotel
Answering and directing incoming calls with a confident, polite telephone manner
Delivering the perfect guest experience from point of enquiry through to reservation of bedroom, dining or spa treatment
Providing a seamless and friendly check in/out service including assisting with baggage and room tours
Multitasking to handle guest arrival/departure, emails and telephone calls alongside your daily shift checklist
Being the first response to minor complaints, logging accurately and ensuring guest recovery
Processing accurate payments/fund releases, coordinating the float and performing end of shift cash up
Liaising with all departments including Housekeeping, Restaurant and Maintenance to ensure smooth running of the Hotel
Maintaining a clean/tidy reception area as well as an organised working environment behind the desk
Key Skills and Knowledge
Relevant experience in a similar role
Knowledge of computer applications is essential - Microsoft outlook/excel/office
Close attention to detail with a structured approach to a task
Extremely high attention to detail
An ability to work under pressure
Be well spoken with excellent written and communication skills
Be self-motivated, maintaining high levels of enthusiasm
Must have a high level of English
