If you are able to devise innovative ways of improving student engagement and are passionate about improving access to higher education, the student experience and employability for students, then this full time, 12 month opportunity to join our busy and rewarding Partnership Development Office could be just what you are looking for!

As Development Officer (Student Ambassador Scheme) you will:

take a lead on undergraduate, postgraduate and pre-HE student engagement
act as a key point of contact for the University of Kent Academies Trust (UKAT)
create, develop and implement effective administrative and data collection systems
develop and deliver effective skills and development programmes for pre-HE students and student ambassadors

To be successful in this role you will have:

BA Honours degree or equivalent
a teaching or training qualification (including assessor’s awards) or equivalent experience
proven and substantial work experience within a related field or transferable skills demonstrated
demonstrable experience of creating and implementing effective administrative systems

The Partnership Development Office is responsible for supporting the implementation of the University’s widening participation strategy and for developing partnerships in the region, with a particular focus on sub-regional partnerships, in support of this strategy. The Partnership Development Office is part of Enrolment Management Services (EMS) comprising the Recruitment and Admissions Office, the Publishing Office and the Scholarships and Foreign Loans Office.
