Assistant Team Leader - Princes Trust Team Programme

£17,787 up to £18,429

Dartford, Kent

CXK Limited

Are you passionate about working with people to help turn their lives around? Do you enjoy working with individuals and groups of people? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

CXK is a leading charity that empowers young people and adults to build the skills and confidence they need, to move into sustainable education, employment or training. In 2017/18 we made a difference to more than 50,000 people across the south-east, by delivering various programmes including the Prince’s Trust Team programme.

Working as an Assistant on CXK’s Prince’s Trust Team Programme you will:

- Provide support and guidance to learners, many of whom have not had positive experiences of education, by inspiring them to engage
with development programmes that improve confidence and skills, preparing them for their next steps.

- Take responsibility for empowering young people to identify their skills and aspirations, provide additional learning support for individuals
and maintain learner records on an ongoing basis, through close working relationships with teaching staff.

- Work with young people developing their motivation and work-related skills, making sure they move into employment, education, training
volunteering or onto an apprenticeship.

We are looking for someone who can work flexibly across our Training & Development programmes. You must be willing to travel, able to work with young people in a residential setting (for up to a week at a time, at set times of the year), and have experience of successfully working with challenging young people, from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Choosing a career with CXK means you will join an organisation that supports your development and provides opportunities to take part in rewarding work, that allows you to make the most of your potential. If you would like to apply for this role, please visit our website to register and upload your complete application form.

Please note that CV's alone will not be considered.

Due to the nature of CXK’s work, all roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
