Mobile Toilet Cleaner

£8.50 hour x 42 hours per week

We are recruiting for a reliable MOBILE TOILET CLEANER with an immediate start and this position will run until the end of September possibly early October 2019.

Applicants will be required to drive a small works van in order to complete their duties and therefore, you MUST HAVE a driving licence.

Although previous experience in a similar role could be an advantage, we welcome applications from individuals who simply want to work, with a good work ethic, who can demonstrate good levels of reliability and who will ultimately commit to the remainder of the summer season.

The position will involve but is not limited to:

You will assist with the early opening, cleaning down, re-stocking and then closing, of a number of public toilets on a pre-planned route that comes under the Shepway umbrella, in and around Folkestone and down as far as New Romney.

These positions are not for the faint hearted - toilet blocks must be cleaned to a high standard.

Returnable uniform and PPE provided free of charge, although own steel toe capped work boots preferred.

Training provided.

Hours/Days/Shift Details:

42 hours per week at £8.50 per hour - WEEKLY PAY!

You will be working on a 4 days on, 4 days off shift basis.

You will be working 10.5 hours per day on a split shift basis, ie mornings and afternoons

This will include occasional weekend work when your 4 days on falls on a weekend.

Early/AM shift: 5.00am - 12.00noon approximately

You then have 3 hours unpaid break from shift and then return:

Afternoon/PM shift: 3.00pm - 6.30pm approximately

The exact shift pattern hours may change very slightly, but you will ultimately be working 10.5 hours per day.

At the end of your fourth working day, you will be required to return the vehicle either to the depot, or to your colleague covering the opposite shift pattern to you.

Consequently, applicants are required to live in or around the Folkestone/Hythe/New Romney area, in order for the vehicle hand over to run smoothly.
