Salary: £15,961 to £17,391 pa, pro rata plus Outer London Weighting (£1,393 pa pro rata)
Hours: 21.5 hours per week (worked over Monday – Friday), Maternity Cover for up to one year
Locations: Mottingham, South East London

We are looking to recruit a highly professional and motivated individual to work at our Mottingham Centre. The postholder will be required to co-ordinate effective Reception and Front of House services to the external and internal customers of the college and assist with developing a responsive, customer focused library and information service. The role will also involve provide administration support, as directed by the Line Manager.

The successful applicant will need at least one year’s experience of working in a customer facing role, and possess strong IT and administrative skills as well as being an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with a variety of people from industrial and educational contacts to students at all levels. Knowledge of Further and Higher Education sectors and an interest in Academic Library Services is advantageous.

The role is to provide Maternity cover from Monday to Friday on a rota basis over 52 weeks on a fixed term contract for up to one year. Flexibility will also be required to provide holiday and sickness cover.
