The Role

Twig is now seeking an adventurous ‘hands-on’ pragmatic ‘Countryside’ environmental project manager to join its successful teams in pursuit of opportunity and career progression.

The Project Manager will scope and develop specifications for projects as per client needs and requests, providing guidance and advice. The Project Manager will budget, quote, prepare and execute, seeking feedback to ensure client satisfaction. Concurrent to the delivery of projects, the Project Manager will want to ensure all aspects comply with legal, regulatory, and internal frameworks and systems. The role will entail travel around the UK, managing teams, subcontractors, as well as some ‘hands-on’ as determined by the needs of the clients and supply chains.

Skills and Experience

The Twig Group are seeking an individual who has proven pragmatic agricultural, environmental project management experience, knowledge, and skills. The individual must be able to demonstrate that they are ‘at home’ interacting in the field with customers and stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of agricultural, horticultural, and environmental activities. The individual must have experience of marshalling resources, leading, and developing teams, and not be afraid of direct ‘hands-on’ involvement where required. The individual must have a firm understanding of Health & Safety regulations, and have a range of skills and ‘tickets’ in relation to driving, towing, tractor driving, ‘plant’, ATVs, spraying, fencing, tree and hedge planting etc.

The individual must be suitable for working on sensitive sites where required and thus have a ‘clean’ unhindered return on a DBS check.

Remuneration

The role is ideal for an individual seeking to further their career in the Agricultural and Ecological Landscaping sector with extensive personal development opportunities. The role will lead to senior management position commensurate with successful sustainable outcomes.

The role will pay in-line with skills, experience, and ambition, with a view of attracting the right individual, circa £30K, including bonus, 22 days holidays per year, pension, and health insurance benefits.
