Hours: Full time Monday – Friday, with flexibility regarding times in order to accommodate for daytime, evening opening hours

We have an exciting opportunity for a self- motivated individual to join our vibrant and busy Student Support Services department as a Sport and Gym Officer.

The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate, develop and promote the college’s fitness, sport, activity and enrichment programme at Hadlow College, and at the same time to support the Student Support Services team, students and staff to ensure all activities are well promoted and act as a key link with Sport England.

Applicants will need to hold a level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and a coaching qualification would also be advantageous. All applicants are required to have a minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy. They must be a team player with good customer service skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts 25 days holiday per annum, excluding bank holidays.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where appropriate a prohibition check will be carried out.
